Meet Your Mentors:

Theresa Dedmon

Theresa is an artist who instructs on creative worship expressions and at creative arts events within the church, as well as on strategy and coordination for city transformation and outreach. She speaks at conferences worldwide, equipping and activating people to step into their supernatural destiny. She focuses on prophetic and healing ministry to help them walk in supernatural creative power to transform the world through creative expressions of God’s presence.

Theresa has an online creative school called Create Academy where thousands of students have been equipped to develop their creative potential, training leaders to cultivate a creative culture, and empower creative revivalists to transform the marketplace, and where they get to join a worldwide Kingdom Creative Community. She has over 25 years of experience empowering and training believers who have used their art to touch others within their community and around the world. She has authored three books that help you explore your creativity and will help you learn to create with God.

Elize Retief

Elize is from South Africa and has been living in Belgium for the past 7 years. There she been able to pursue and discover the power of Prophetic Art. Through Create Academy, where she is a 3rd year student in Theresa's mentorship program, she has been given the opportunity to further develop her gift . She is excited to share with other artists how to partner with The Lord Jesus and see His Kingdom break through the darkness and change lives and outcomes as we create.

Amani Hanson

Amani Hanson is a professional artist, mom & wife living in Northern California. Amani has been creating art since high school, where she began drawing with dry mediums. She began painting in 2005 after attending a prophetic art workshop.

She began leading a prophetic arts team at her church and has continued to inspire and activate others to pursue their creativity calling wherever she goes.

Over the years, Amani has worked with several organizations to bring greater awareness and raise funds for social justice issues such as Human Trafficking, deforestation in Africa, and the need for clean water.

Amani is currently living in Redding CA where she works from her home studio as an acrylic and resin artist.

She is a part of the Bethel Creative Arts team, and paints during worship. Her pieces tell a story and carry the message of justice, freedom, identity, beauty, and hope.

Amani’s passion is partnering with Holy Spirit to communicate his voice through her paintings and speak to hearts beyond words. Her desire is that when people encounter her artwork they are drawn into God’s presence and feel seen and known by Him.
